life update (may be long and coma inducing)

well... I'm in my last week of training at the new job! yay! I actually get my own desk and a much more flexible schedule next monday! ;) I'm excited! everything is going well, and I'm still enjoying it. I've had a lot less stress since I changed jobs, it's been delightful :)

I've been thinking a lot about where to send Allie to preschool this coming sept, and I have no clue what I'm doing or where to send her or if we can even afford it. All these firsts with kids are hard, of course I've never had to do it before so how do parents know what to do ya know?

We are still on for our vacation to "Hanna Montana" as Allie would say lol. I'm so glad my new employer let me have it off! So we're trying to figure out how to plan our trip out and if we'll go bankrupt just from the gas prices since we're driving there and probably taking the truck and the dog so we'll have room for everyone and everything.

I'm sooo loving the weather (when it's been sunny) lately. We've had a few days of 70's ish weather and it's been absolutely lovely! we went to the beach a couple weekends ago on a nice saturday like that, had a blast and got a little sun. Last weekend it was really pretty too, Shaun and I bought a couple of barrel planters and I planted some white and dark pink flowers in them in the front yard and enjoyed the sun.

We've been hanging out with a couple who's son goes to Allie's day care lately. They invited us to his birthday party and we've gotten together a couple times after that. I haven't really had a friend who has a child that we can hang out with regularly. I have friends from high school who don't have kids yet, and friends from church that have kids but we don't see all the time or very often anyway and they have their friends from high school that they always hang out with. So it's nice to sort of find a couple that's within our element. :) we're having a good time. Their son and Allie play really good together, he's a good little boy. And we have a lot of the same interests so we really get along well. anyway... I'm just always thankful for new friends :)

I'm posting this on the laptop from my bedroom cause I'm "guarding" or watching Gracie after her spay today, poor thing she's pretty tired. Keeping Allie and Sadie away from her is hard and keeping her in is hard too, she wants out of course. lol anyway, there's been a lot going on lately and I've been cut off from my second life on the internet so I haven't been able to keep up like I used to. I miss all my friends online at momsville and hope you all are doing great! shoot me an email anytime (I try to check it every night) :)

My LAST Day!

I'm a big bottle of excitment! lol! Everyone's being really nice today!haha so far I got a card and a hand made beaded bracelet from a friend here, and lots of goodbyes. We're doing mexican food for lunch today, and Greta and another guy from work and I are going to do some Irish Car bombs after work! (carol ann's, baileys, and guiness) YUM! and maybe play some pool too...

So ya this is it! I'm going to NOT miss it here! lol.... but I will miss some good friends I've made a long the way of course.

I'll be posting about my new job as soon as I get a day or two under my belt :)
