Well it's my last week at Carlton....

It's going to be long but short at the same time... there are some great friends that I've gotten to know over the span of 2 years, and when you think about spending the majority of your days 5 days a week with people at work for 2 years of your life you've invested a lot with some people and with others you've endured and soaked up a lot of emotions and experiences that will stay with you forever. So I'll be trying to touch base with some of those people I've invested in and have a relationship there and make sure they've got my phone # to keep in touch and let them now I'll miss them. Other's I'll be rejoicing that I won't have to deal with them anymore! hehehe And of course I'm getting anxious and a little nervous for the new position, and the new relationships and people to endure lol not knowing what I'll come face to face with, the good, the bad and the ugly.... they're all out there lurking in the shadows waiting for any moment to leap out and ..... oh sorry got a little carried away there.. ;) you get the picture.

on the lighter side, I got to go shopping for some new work clothes! yay! shopping! lol... that always makes a girl feel good :P

New job, new journey, new challenges...

Well it happend within 2 days! I got a call thursday and interviewed friday and got an offer extended to me the same day! I hope that this new job will have the environment I'm looking for and less stressful all around. They seemed to be pretty nice, and understanding even when Sadie was hurt that day and they had to wait for me.

anyway...I sort a wish I could take a week off in between this job and the other, but I doubt my boss now will go for that, hahah. but I might just ask :)

We saw it at IKEA when we got our bed frame, and couldn't resist! how cool is it to have a swing in your own room! lol... .she absolutely loves it ;)

I found this dress that came with a little dress for a doll, and I had to get it! she had to try it on and put it on her dolly :) I'm thinking I'll let her take dolly to church with her just cause it's so darn cute! hehehee..

Playin at the mountain!

We had such a blast! it was a little slow goin with parking, and how busy it was up there since it was sooo sunny and beautiful, and finding a good place for all of us, esp Allie to have a good safe place to tube. But once we found our little spot and got goin it was awesome! Allie did so good, and thank goodness her snow clothes worked well, she didn't get wet at all. My brother came up with us which was awesome, and took a lot of pictures which we really awesome cause I wanted to make sure I got some but I was really keeping a tight watch on Allie since it was so slippery and the snow wasn't packed much and we kept falling down as far as 3 feet or more with each step in most places. I had no room for taking pictures, I was on high alert with Allie running around! :)

Jenn's Wedding!

So... she finally got back her professional pictures, and I found a few with us (Shaun & I) (Anne & Nate) in them! I assumed I'd look like my horrible picture taking self, but I don't look half bad for being 20-50lbs overweight and 6 ft taller than everyone else. lol. *sigh* someday I'll look better right? anyway.. regarless of how I look, I still want to cherrish the moment! Jenn's Wedding was so amazing! it was truely a fairytale wedding! everything went so well, and everything looked amazing, I'll have to post more pictures sometime of the rest of it. We all had a great time, and now all three of us are married!!! heeeehaaww! now get on with havin babies you two!!! lol. I can't wait we'll all be barefoot and standing around pregnant in our kitchens talking about how our backs hurt, and our feet hurt, and the heartburn, and the fear of delivery! lol, it will be great! lol.

So, here's to you Jenn! Congratulations! Jason is a great guy, and you two will be happy for many years to come! just keep on sayin your sorry when you should, sayin I love you even before you should, and keep the Lord first and at the center of your marriage! I'm so happy for you!

just needed to post...

So life seems to be a bit crazy lately...I'm really not sure why, lol! it just is... I've been wanting to make a new post forever, I look at my blog every day and just think, "ugh.. blah.. nothing new! lol, but I never have any idea's of what to blog about, esp with out any interesting pictures! lol So here's something at least... ;)

The superbowl game this weekend was awesome! I was trying to find some good pictures of some of the great moments to post... I found a lot of great ones, but one moment that I think deserved a lot more credit than it got was when Eli Manning escaped the clutches of 4 or 5 patriots and after being down to grass level, then back up again spinning out and back only to make "the" amazing throw of the game to Tyree who inturn makes "the" catch of the game pinning the ball tightly to his own helmet! All of it was just plain awesome but in all of the news, sports overage, etc.. they really only focus on Tyree's catch. I would love to see some still shots of Mannings efforts! but all in all it was a fabulous superbowl game, very exciting, and nail biting at the end!

I'm not the best to comment on football but this was a game ANYONE could enjoy and appreciate! ;) here are a couple cool pics from the game...

Allie and her new hat & scarf from Lizzy

Lizzy is so good at this stuff and when I saw the hat she made for her daughter Jaemie, I loved it! and asked her if she wanted to make another one and I'd buy it for Allie. We got it in the mail yesterday, and had to try it on! Of course almost every picture from now until eternity Allie will be holding the kitten, it's attached to her hip these days. Little Gracie does pretty good about being hauled around everywhere, I think she'll have a good temperament which is what we were hoping for. Sadie knows who's boss during play time now, she's so patient with Gracie, and we're relieved that it's going so well :)
